putt around

Patton Oswald came on when I was doodling so then this happened.

Also the handwriting is rough because it's the bottom of the sketchbook...

foursquare

Drew the boxes, filled 'em in.

I'd change a few things if I could but oh well.

syedurrr

Yeah I never update this site.
Until it's too late.
So here's a page from thanksgiving, which is about leaving cider in the fridge too long and is oddly appropriate.

Probably not well, which is a shame.

Andrew Saga - Another Musical (?) Guest

T-Pain, known for his series of songs that he's for whatever reason, in... wishes Andrew birthday greetings with all his usual flair and style and jiggery-pokery and fliggity-gibbity...

Andrew Saga - With Musical Guest

So, as Deathklok? Is that how you spell it? Was doing a global tour, and sense no one plays Detroit.... Well, this had to do. so, HAVE A BRUTAL B-DAY!!!! I particularly like the lead singer... whatshisname in this picture. This is pretty much the cornerstone of the whole card, the drawing I re-did a number of times to get it right. It's two 4x6 cards ripped up and taped together, actually.

Andrew Saga - Special Guest

Seriously, I don't care if the Penny Arcade guys like him, he's a total knob.

Andrew Saga - Start

So, this is the start of a gigantic saga of pictures on (more or less) 4x6 cards I drew for a friends' b-day. This is the result of a couple of hours of frantic drawing before his party. Here's the envelope that I doodled on while waiting to give it to him. The weird waitress thought the word bubble was sort of phalic. That bitch was desperate if she thought that looked like a dong.

Bounce Castle

This one is from early January this year, and for whatever reason I never scanned it. Drew it while watching Gonzo, that Hunter S. Thompson biography. It made me wonder if there were any recordings of Johnny Depp reading his books. (It seems not).

ROCKY on guitar and vocals DALE on drums JIMBO in bass
Rocky obviously gets all the tail, he's the best preserved.

Mexican Beer

Drew this in lecture the other day, approx. actual size 2in x 4in. No reference, no pencil, with an odd Staedtler "Lumocolor" felt tip pen/marker on a 4x6 card (yes, it's a terrible habit I should draw on real paper).

I love how I can set the date and time for the post, I don't have to update every single day to get daily posts. Also, that "FRESH COONS" sign I saw in Detroit a few months back really is for dead raccoons.

Connect Two!

It's Tuesday... morning... so it's still the same... crap, did I miss Monday? I did, didn't I? Whatever. Here's today's good picture:

Then... the bad picture. It's the beatles... though they look a lot more like Mt. Rushmore. Mount! Rush! More!"It's not no much a cocktail as it is a horrible sticky thick SWEET MeSS With ALCOHOL in it" (The capitalization isn't really important, when writing in drawings sometimes I interchange upper case and lower case depending on which looks better.)

Groooovy.....

I can't believe it's been a year... a lot of this stuff is still really good though... some of it...

I'm still drawing on index cards, a bad habit, but whatareyagunnadoaboutitohwell...

Good picture, drawing while listening to a uStream.

Bad picture, drawn to same uStream probably.

I like drawing while a bit distracted, either I draw better, or much much worse. Either way I'm drawing, which is good.

casiotone

Messing around in PS. It's supposed to be a bad photo of an old crappy, fake LP cover. I like the price tag best.

Looking at it from the other way

Also, I started playing bioshock and it is just unbelievably cool. I've gotta keep playing.

Yummy yummy colors

Both these drawing are pretty boring, so you get two today.

I spent an hour or something going through pictures I like and using this site.

What you do is give it an image, then it spits out a group of colors from it that make a good looking pallet. I put the hex codes it gives me into PS and make swatches out of them. In otherwords, I M UR PICKTUREZ STEELIN UR COLORZ.

I might just be crazy

It's late, so what do I do? Hmmm... I haven't seen Amadeus yet, I think I'll just watch that. Oh, it's two hours and forty minutes... nah, it's cool.

And I did... I watched the whole thing.

Cute and sassy? How awesome is that?

I prefer tea to coffee anyhow.

i can updatez

So, playing bioshock I wondered... what do they use for money if the whole idea is that the city is totally independent?
1) They make their own money
2) Andrew Ryan speculates and tapes doodles to Canadian Tire dollars
3) The answer to his speculations

I just had the most unbelievably awesome games of Team Fortress 2. I didn't beat any old records (except maybe most dominations), but just pure fucking awesome TEAM gaming. So great, so... so great.

still works

In the great tradition of "a different drawing of the same thing, and this one is even less finished".

They have a truck, and for some reason I thought that meant they should have "truck antics". Well here they are. Whoo... laugh riot.

I've got better, this is just the dregs of what I scanned.

it was Old Man Ryan!

Because Rapture would make for the ultimate episode of Scooby Doo.

I haven't played it yet, but I'm getting it for xmas.

Ok, so there's ONE Kansas song I kinda like

I drew this one from panel 3 to panel 1. Listening to smodcast, they were talking about fat people bottoming out the boats in the shitty "It's a small world after all" ride.

Pine trees are so much easier to draw then deciduous trees.

something something before the thunderstorm

Panel 1:
This is supposed to be a shot from on campus, the CIS building on the right, facing the Science Building with the woods over on the left. Without the orangey-sodium lights it'd be pitch black.
Panel 2:
Top half of the black fill is this Staedtler marker and the rest is regular Pentel Brush Pen. It's so annoying when blacks don't match... You can see the little line where they overlap.
Panel 3:
oops, forgot to erase. Also, put more ink in the Pentel so it got a lot darker.

Yeah, this isn't a very good one. I've got more, though.

The third panel is the sign on the front door. The next 3 panels showed it in as they panned back.
